Compare death benefits settlement options with our quick calculator

Most people focus on how much they will leave behind for their loved ones. Yet an equally important question is often overlooked: HOW should that wealth be passed on?

Different people may need support in different ways. Some may prefer immediate access to cash while others may need financial support over time. At HSBC Life, we offer different Death Benefit Settlement Options (DBSO), giving you flexibility in how your wealth is passed on to your loved ones.

One size does not fit all

We understand that the people you care about may need support in different ways. That's why we offer five Death Benefit Settlement Options (“DBSO”), giving you flexibility in how death benefit proceeds are paid to your loved ones.

Whether your loved ones need immediate access to funds, regular financial support over time, or a combination of both, DBSO allows you to flexibly set the payout amount, method and timing that helps your loved ones to manage the assets wisely and pass wealth on to future generations.
