The Hongkong Bank Foundation is steadfastly committed to forging connections within the community through meaningful actions. Drawing inspiration from "rice", we introduce the SOULFULL initiative. In collaboration with Food Angel, we aim to harness the tender sentiments of our entire city, allowing each grain of rice to embody an added warmth. These heartfelt messages from our community will accompany love-infused lunchboxes delivered to the elderly beneficiaries, intertwining warmth with comforting words and nourishing both the body and soul through food.

The Hongkong Bank Foundation’s SOULFULL initiative, in collaboration with Food Angel, has collected over 1,000 heartfelt messages from various locations and crafted them into loving meal boxes, warming and nourishing the body, heart and soul of the elderly. This project plans to deliver these loving meal boxes to a total of 1,000 seniors living alone. At the same time, some of the elderly beneficiaries have also shared their sentiments and blessings with public through SOULFULL.

It supports environmental and sustainable development while improving the lives of the underprivileged. Today, the Foundation stands as one of the largest charitable foundations in Hong Kong's business community. Over the years, the Foundation has funded more than ten thousand projects.

Food Angel is committed to collecting surplus food from the local food industry that is both edible and safe to consume. Following rigorous food safety inspection procedures, the food is processed in a central kitchen, transforming into nutritionally balanced meals or packaging them as food pouches. The dedicated volunteer logistics team then distributes these meals and pouches to community members in need of food assistance.
