Where to find my PayMe ID?

You can find your PayMe ID by going to the ‘Me’ page and tap 'Settings' on the top right corner, then tap on 'Profile', your PayMe ID is displayed above your profile picture.

Where to find my policy number?

Via Personal Internet Banking:
You can log on to Personal Internet Banking, go to “My insurance”, then “My policies” to check your policy number the next working day after the application is approved.

Via HSBC HK Mobile Banking app:
Log on to HSBC HK Mobile Banking app and go to your “Policy overview” of the eligible insurance plan. The policy number is displayed below the plan’s name.

Or via policy document:
Or you can find your policy number in your policy document in the policy pack sent to your correspondence address within 9 calendar days from the application approval date.

If I have provided my PayMe ID to staff during the insurance application, do I have to register online?

Online registration is not needed if you have provided your PayMe ID to our staff when applying for an insurance plan.

How will the discount vouchers be issued?

According to the total amount of the discount voucher entitled, it will be issued in multiple of discount vouchers valued at HKD 250 each to the PayMe wallet. For example, if a customer is entitled to HKD 2,000 discount voucher, he/she will receive 8 x HKD 250 discount vouchers in their PayMe wallet.

Discount vouchers can be found under “Rewards” section in the PayMe app. Only one discount voucher can be consumed for each eligible transaction.

Where can I use the discount vouchers?

Discount vouchers could be used in any PayMe merchants. Find out more about the merchant list.

Can the discount voucher be transferred to cash in PayMe wallet?

No, discount vouchers are not transferable to PayMe wallet balance, not exchangeable to cash/service, other products or discounts.

  3. Eligible customer will be entitled to the highest amount of discount voucher value according to the Annualised New Premium (where applicable) of the Eligible Insurance Policy.
  4. HSBC Life “Life is more rewarding” offer cannot be used in conjunction with the concurrent HSBC Life Early Summer offer.  
  5. No rewards will be offered if the Eligible Customer cancels the issued policy(ies) within the cooling off period.

In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between HSBC and you out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, HSBC is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with you; however, any dispute over the contractual terms of the above insurance product should be resolved between HSBC Life and you directly.
