Take a photo of your new version of HKID card issued in Nov 2018 or later*.

*By using your passport to apply for an HK HSBC account via mobile app, you will be required to take a picture of your identity document. The estimated completion time of the whole application is around 10 minutes.

Take a selfie for identification purposes.

Fill in your personal details.

Reminder: After successfully submitting the investment account application, you’ll need to upload your address proof for verification. Log in to mobile banking to upload your address proof in ‘Wealth’ > ‘Products and services’ > ‘Document upload’ .
